Judit Olah
I am Mrs. Judit Kovacs Oláh. I was born in 1975 into an average Roma family with four children. I began my studies at Zsambok elementary school, after which I learned the trades of flower arranging and gardening.
I met my husband in 1992. We had three children. Soon we were faced with the oldest child’s sickness, which completely destroyed any hope I had in life and I sank into deep depression. My life was characterized by fear and hopelessness until one day we met with young people who were proclaiming the kingdom of God. At once I grabbed hold of the promise of hope and peace through God because I knew that that’s what I needed. In 1998 I gave leadership of my life to God. For 23 years, since being saved, we have held church services in our home. I am very thankful that I have been able to serve the Lord in this way. In the fall of 2020, I was approached and asked to join the CHE Hungary team. I am serving in several communities together with my husband, Ferenc; in Boldog, in Apc and in Zsambok, where my husband is the pastor.
My goal is that people will see God and come to find their purpose of life in Jesus, as I have. I know exactly what it is to live a life without God, without hope, depressed. I want to hold up the only ray of hope before people, because they are searching, but they are not finding hope. May Jesus, as the bright morning star, shine into everyone’s life. May His life shine that real life in Christ may come to be.
“The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:9-12
